MisterKite
+ Tape The Radio
+ The Damn Fine Coats
+ No Response
2009 has been a pretty fantastic first year for us and we will round it off in style with yet another cracking line up. We have a fantastic blend of local up and coming talent as well as a name who are soon to become commonplace on the UK indie scene. The Vale presents:
MISTERKITE
Citing influences from The Beatles to The Specials and from Oasis to Arctic Monkeys, MisterKite's turbo charged belting tunes have caused quite a stir locally and they are now receiving some widespread praise on a larger scale. Hailing from Hillingon, MisterKite are Rob, William, Mark and Bobby and they are coming to The Vale for one raucous headline show that will round a fantastic first year at The Vale. This is one show not to be missed!!! You can find their debut EP 'Bi-Romance, I Meant Love' on iTunes.
TAPE THE RADIO
Main support comes from South East London based Tape The Radio who have already had quite some year. Voted as one of the best unsigned acts on MySpace, TTR come to The Vale on the eve of a UK tour as main support to the brilliant Athlete which sees them visit venues such as the Anson Rooms (Bristol), the ABC (Glasgow) and West London's own Shepherds Bush Empire. They are also about to release their brilliant new single 'Stay Inside'. TTR are a band with a very bright future gaining national exposure from BBC radio 6 and through music giants NME.
THE DAMN FINE COATS
Ruislip trio The Damn Fine Coats have a ridiculously catchy sound, moody baselines meets some pretty damn loud rock. It's simple...but so very effective and we'll be honest at The Vale...we love these guys! '2 Headed Monster' should be heard by the world...but make you sure get to be one of the first people to hear it as TDFC gets things underway and set the tone for a fantastic night.
NO RESPONSE
Ickenham based rockers No Response formed in October 2007 and gena gigging in late 2008. Their lively sets have got them glowing reviews and they have previously played at a Hillingdon Youth Council Event called RUBIX at the nightclub Liquid in Uxbridge.
